Dr.'s office visit

Mya and I got to go to Dr. Glade's office today for her 2 month well-baby check up.

Here are her stats:

10 pounds 7 ounces (22nd percentile)

24 inches long (92nd percentile)
Translation... she is tall and thin.

Then came the torture.... 5 shots and an oral vaccine.

Her poor little pin-cushion legs! I felt so bad for her and as you can see she was not happy with the experience either.

After the appointment we get to stay for a class on child development. There are 4 other mom/baby couples that are the same age as Mya and they are all first time parents. So we meet together and can ask questions and discuss problems and Dr. Glade talks with us about the developmental milestones that we should be looking for. I really enjoyed the class, and it was nice to know that we are on track and that there are others out there that have questions too.

P.S. She is the baldest little girl in the class. One girls hair is like 3 inches long already and the other one is hispanic so there was no way I can compete with that. I do think she has both the little boys beat, that would be way embarassing if not. Yikes!
