Halloween 2015

Adventure is Out There!!
This year we decided to attempt a family costume theme. We debated a few ideas but all the kids agreed and were excited about being the characters from Disney Pixar's Up.  Mya was a darling young Ellie, complete with grape soda pin, crazy red hair and crooked teeth. Sadie was super excited to be Kevin the bird and wanted Sienna to be one of her babies. Hayze insisted that he was a superhero, so anytime we had to dress up we called him Superhero Dug dog! And that made it just perfect. Cody was grumpy old Mr. Fredricksen and I was the ever chipper wilderness explorer, Russell. 'The wilderness must be explored! Ka-Kaw! Rawr!'

Cute little baby 'Kevin'. I love that my kiddos' all get saggy delicious cheeks like this. It's the best, most kissable thing!
The Sunday before Halloween we got invited to sail the stormy seas with the Draper pirates at their annual, amazing Halloween party. We pulled up and what did we see, a giant pirate ship complete with mermaid figure head 'docked' in the front yard.
Dr. Jekyl / Grandpa and his lovely lady.

The Draper Pirates! They look like they could have walked right off the set of the Pirates of the Caribbean. Their costumes echo the level of commitment to the holiday that their house does. There is no half way when it comes to Draper Halloween.

Grandpa, Grams, Suzie and Michael

Laura and Comidor Scott. You would never guess that this beautiful lady was hiding 7 months worth of baby bump under that gorgeous dress.
And what does every ship need to make port, a dock of course! You don't have a dock in your front yard? Oh, right, lets build one! The day before. Our friends are incredible, and a little crazy. haha

Treasure room, of course. And of course my girls were terrified of all of it. Bless their little hearts.
Hayze on the other hand, thought it was all fabulous! Pirates are right up his alley right now.

Halloween Night

Gummy little smiles from our Little Sienna. She hung out with daddy and helped hand out candy to the neighbor kids while the other kiddo's and I went around the neighborhood with our cute neighbors.

After a couple cup-de-sacs the kiddos were content with their candy haul and decided it was time to go see Great Grandparents and then Grams and Grandpa. It took us a minute but we finally got both our little pups to hold still for a picture together. We often laugh at these two because they seem to be both maneuvering the toddler phase of life together.

Tyson & Brooke's Wedding

My heart is beyond happy, my brother found the woman that completes him. She makes him so happy and brought the light back into by brother's eyes. As a protective older sister there isn't anything that can make you more happy than that. Brooke is his match, she is sassy and sweet and basically amazing. She shoots straight and will tell you exactly like it is and I love it. I told her one time that I loved her so much I just wanted to grit my teeth and squish her face, and her reply was that teeth grit love is the best kind. I think I have to agree.
Their day was beyond beautiful. The photo taking was in full force on this day and I'm so glad to have so many memories.

Grams and Grandpa looking as classy as ever.
We had to have a couple's temple photo shoot while we waited for our turn for family pictures with the bride and groom. Why waste a beautiful view?

We even convinced grandma and grandpa to get in on the action.
This guy, I really adore him. He is my other half and he makes my heart happy. It feels like just a blink since it was our day on these beautiful temple grounds. But that blink has really been over a decade! How does that happen?

These guys, they are pretty high up on my list of favorites. I'm pretty lucky, I count these guys as two of my best friends. They have my back always, and we would defend one another to the bitter end. And we pretty much always have a good time together.
And then those guys made the best decisions of their lives and married these two amazing gals and gave me two amazing sisters. Well played boys! I thank you!

The picture documentation continued into the night! There were so many sweet moments, little details, and these pretty cute kids that I just had to remember. The venue was beautiful and Brooke's color scheme and decor was so very classy.
My Mama, she is such a beautiful lady. She loves these kids of mine with all her heart and they love her right back with all of theirs.

Hayze-O was feeling large and in charge tonight. He insisted on wearing his fabulous neon glasses all night long. He has this little strut, full on attitude when he walks around sometimes. It is hilarious and adorable.
Oh my Mya girl, when did you get all grown up?
Darling Sadie, Sweet and Sassy.
My Handsome Hayze
And our newest little love Sienna. She was just sweet as could be all night long.
This little crazy family of mine! I look at this picture and I honestly don't know how to adequately express the love and feelings of gratitude that are overflowing from my heart.

Auntie Megan we love ya!

We hung out with Great Grandma and Grandpa most of the night.

Lets just take a moment to appreciate the fact that Brooke made her own wedding cake! To her it was totally no big deal and she rocked it! It was delightful!

I realize that this isn't the most perfect picture but is was one of those silly/sweet moments that I wanted to remember. I came upon Mya counting the buttons on Brooke's dress.
Getting ready for the Sparkler Send off! These things were some pretty big sparklers!

Yep, Hayze is still sporting his shades.
