Thursday pictures - 31 Weeks

31 Weeks on the 31st of October.
Happy Halloween from this handsome little devil.

Highlights of our Halloween

This year the girls decided that they wanted to be My Little Ponies for Halloween. They took quite a while to decide which one they wanted to be so finally I made them make their final decisions and I lovingly informed them that they couldn't change. Creating a pony costume presented a delightful challenge for me. I love being able to figure out how to create something. I was happy with the way they turned out and the girls were beyond thrilled and that made it even better.
Miss Mya wanted to be Rainbow Dash.

Sadie decided to be Princess Celestia. I tried and tried to convince her that her unicorn horn wasn't necessary but despite all my talking she insisted upon it. Not my greatest creation but it put a smile on this sweet face.
When I happened upon this little costume I knew I had to have it for Mr. Hayze.

This year was the first time we have done classic trick or treating around a neighborhood. I will admit that it made me a bit nostalgic. I had such a great time as a child and I'm so excited that we have a great area that will hopefully provide those same memories for my kiddo's. Sadie, despite my efforts, didn't get a nap so she quickly became a bit annoyed by the colder weather. In the picture above she's letting me know how 'burrzy' it is.
Who wouldn't want to kiss this little face!?
The cute little Minion in the middle is Mya's cute friend in our ward named Ali. We went around a little bit with her family and Mya was thrilled. Sadie is pretty sure that Ali is her best friend too. She is a sweet little girl, a little shy but darling.

Grams and Grandpa had some yummy soup and treats for us.
We went next door to trick or treat Auntie Jo and Uncle Mark. We came across some cute cousins there as well.
Mya made me laugh, but it also made me kind of happy to see here find a book and curl up to check it out.
Poor Uncle Tyson had to work but Hallah came to hang out with us.

Welcome to Storybrooke...Halloween at the Draper's

This year's adventure to the Draper's Halloween festivities was, as always, incredible. This years theme centered around Hansel and Gretel and other fairy tales.
We decided to break out the Duck Dynasty theme for the adults. So basically Cody wore what he had been wearing all week hunting. Don't worry I washed them before we went. The girls were excited to wear their costumes a few days early.
The wicked witch and Rumpelstiltskin our gracious hosts for the evening.
Here are some shots of the incredible details.

As always they go above and beyond with their handmade and collected additions.

Deni, Nick and their handsome little frog prince.
My Mom was getting in touch with her inner brunette.  It was kind of weird to see her with long hair.

I kind of love these kiddo's. They were a little nervous with all the decorations but not as bad as I expected. We had a wonderful time visiting with good friends, eating fantastic food and getting ourselves into the Halloween spirit.

Thursday Pictures - 30 Weeks

30 Weeks Old

This happy little man just melts my heart every day. He is so smiley and happy. I love walking in to get him out of his crib in the morning, he looks right at you and his little face lights up. He thinks he wants to be mobile. If he wants something he will roll and scoot himself to try and get to where he wants to be. It kills me when he gets up and is rocking on his knees. I know sooner than later he will be up and going but my heart is just not ready for him to be a big crawling boy.

Thursday Pictures - 29 Weeks

29 Weeks Old!
Silly stinker is obsessed with his tongue. It is always out. It makes me laugh because it is always hanging out, especially when he smiles. I must admit it's pretty cute. So, good thing we had it clipped when he was little. What would he do without it?!

Big sister likes him a lot! She loves to tease him, make him giggle and cuddle with him. Sometimes we have to remind her to love him softly.

Thursday Pictures - 28 Weeks

28 Weeks Old!
Who wouldn't want to kiss this little face over and over!! I can't resist and find myself smothering him with them on a daily basis. He is such a happy boy! He still doesnt' sleep supremely well but we are getting there. Its either good or pretty rough, not a whole lot of in between at night. He got up on his knees for the first time this week and I will totally admit to a small panic. I may have picked him up so that it wouldn't happen again. Please be my snugly little baby for a little longer! Please?!
