The Happiest Place on Earth!!

HA! Betcha all thought I was done with my Disneyland pictures. Well, as I warned before, I have a picture addiction and this trip was just too much fun not to share a few more.

The girls did so great on the flight there, since Mya had a window seat we took her car seat for her to ride in and it was the best! It was just like any other normal ride in the car for her except this time she had her own TV which was super cool!
Sadie was as sweet as ever and did great. We were a little worried about the cabin pressure change with landing but conveniently it was time to eat right them so she had no problem popping her ears. (On a random note; for some reason I think it is hilarious to see the airport security people kinda freak out and go on high alert when I take 12+ oz of breast milk through security. They have to scan it with some laser and open it and test it with a ph tester, it's pretty serious business and truly a possible threat to national security.)
Ready and rearin' to go for the first day of Disneyland! We were lucky enough to stay at the Disneyland Grand Californian Hotel. It was absolutely breathtaking! I tried and tried to get pictures that would even begin to do it justice but I couldn't come close. It was so nice to be on Disney property. We had an entrance that went directly into California Adventure. It was so nice to be so close, especially on the days we needed a rest or the day I forgot to bring any diapers. Grams and Grandpa... Thank You!!
Oh, Disney it was so fun to see a different side of you this trip. The fall decor was so much fun, not overpowering but just enough to change things up a little bit.

I have especially wanted to come to Disneyland when it was decorated for Halloween and Christmas. Now I can check off Halloween, but I don't think it will be the last time.

My amazing, adorable, wonderful, Mom and Dad!

It was so much fun to be there with them and to be able to have their help with the girls and to see them experience everything again with their grandchildren's perspective.

Miss Mya waiting in line for Toy Story Mania! She did so great waiting in all the lines. Granted they weren't very long but she was an absolute trooper.

Mya and Grandpa
Feeding the Ducks the remainder of our bread bowls.

MMMmmm the sourdough bread bowls and soup, a must have!

Riding Heimlich the Caterpillars

This ride was cute but less than an adrenaline rush. It traveled at probably 2 mph and lasted about 3 minutes. Good thing the line was always short and hey, Mya liked it.

Mya Loved Turtle Talk with Crush! She and my dad tell each other, 'You so totally Rock!' quite often and now they have a special handshake courtesy of the Crush Dude. You'll have to ask to see their Fin/Noggin', It's pretty adorable if you ask me.

'It's the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!'

'Come inside! It's fun inside!'

'Miska-Mooska - Mickey Mouse!!'

We had a grand time, singing and dancing and using our mouska-tools with Toodles and the whole gang from the clubhouse.

We saw the new water production at Paradise Pier called the Wonderful World of Color.

It was so amazing! The whole bay is filled with water fountains that spray water as high or higher than the Mickey Ferris wheel. They add colored lights, music and project clips from classic Disney films onto screens of water. It was absolutely beautiful!

Mya really loved the show.

Oh, the Jungle Cruise! A classic that can't be missed. This year we went on it at night and that was a different experience but it was fun because I noticed things that I'd never seen before and we had a 'captain' that was hilarious, he didn't use ANY of the jokes you hear every time you ride.

Dad, MK and Ty
The Haunted Mansion had been taken over by Jack Skelington and the rest of the Nightmare Before Christmas gang and I'll admit that I was a little skeptical about the changes. But I have to say that I really liked it. It was fun to see all the different ways they had changed it.

Me and My good lookin' Hubby! I adore this guy!

Mckay lucked out, Megan and her family just happened to be vacationing at Disney the same time we were so she met up with us for a few hours. Mya was excited to see her and insisted on riding with her and Mckay. (2 year old chaperon, he he) Mya however didn't get to see the whole ride, she was zonked out after the first minute or so.

Oh the turkey legs. Cody was a man on a mission to find these giant manly treats and was a happy boy once he did.

We all rode in a yellow submarine and who did we find?

'MENO'

I would probably be able to safely say this was Mya's favorite ride. I think we rode it 3 or 4 times and she squealed and yelled at all the Nemo characters we discovered along our voyage.

Mom and I came out with the girls to see if we could see the boys on Grizzly River Rapids. It was chilly enough that none of us wanted to ride it. But it was night time and the line was super short so Cody, Tyson and McKay got in their swimsuits and rode it over and over until they had been suficiently chilled to the bone.
Sadie and Mya got some new friends while we were their thanks to Grams and Grandpa and they absolutely love them!

I loved the big pumpkin characters they created at the entrance.
The happiest place on earth to nap.

Small World was probably Mya's next favorite ride and everyone was such good sports to ride it multiple times. Disney has updated some portions of the ride adding characters into their specific parts of the world; peter pan in London, Pinocchio in Italy, Aladdin and Jasmine, Lilo and Stitch, Woody and Jessie. And Mya's faves...Nemo, Crush, Dory, Ariel, and Donald Guck.

Mya and Daddy on Flick's Flyers

This was the ride we always went on to kill the time while others were around the corner on the Tower of Terror.

Mya showing off Uncle McKay's shades. She loved having adjoining rooms with my parents. She would wake up every morning and the first thing she wanted to do was to run in there and visit them. She thought it was so neat that they were so easily accessable.

We spent some time on the boardwalk playing all the games while Grams and Grandpa kindly waited in line for Toy Story. We had some big winners; McKay won Mya a cute stuffed Dumbo and Ty won that giant dog bed sized baseball that didn't make it home with us because there was no way we could pack it or carry it on the plane.

After a long day of magic this is usually how we found our girls.

Getting the traditional picture at the entrance.

We actually rode Dumbo! This is the first time I have ever rode this ride. Of course we had to make sure and get the Dumbo with the pink hat.

This face just makes me happy! I will admit that I feel how she looks whenever I come to Disneyland.

What a wonderful trip! It was so much fun to relax, be a kid again in the Magic Kingdom, be with my family and to see my little girl discover one of my favorite places for the first time.
