Lessons Learned by the Hubby while Flying out of the middle of nowhere North Dakota.
If you arrive 45 minutes early you are considered late and you may not make it on your flight. Unless you are lucky and the attendant is in a good mood. Your luggage however WILL NOT be allowed on the plane.
The reason you are late is that the same lady who checks you in also has to De-ice the planes so there is a small window of time where she is actually at the desk to check you in.
The De-icer lady is super grumpy so note to self... bring her coffee and doughnuts next time.
The security guy however it really low key.
Always choose the flight with a long lay over because you WILL be late arriving.
It all makes getting home that much better.
