Pinecones, Mosquitos and Family... OH MY!

Earlier this month we packed up our little fam and ventured to beautiful McCall, Idaho for what Cody calls his Callister family 'rebellion'.
The Callister family consists of 12 siblings including Cody's mom, Debi, and they have all been coming to McCall since they were children. I can see why, it is absolutely breathtaking! The green ponderosa pines grow right to the edge of the beautiful blue water, absolute heaven!
We jumped in the boat and toured around the lake. There were so many cute old cabins and beautiful new ones built along the shore.

This was the only nap that Mya took the entire trip. Worth it!

Sadie and I enjoying the boat ride.
The rest of the weekend was spent mostly with the cousins playing on the beach, building sandcastles, watching the big kids tube and ski, visiting with cousins I have only met through their blogs, playing some games, family campfires complete with amazing talent show (ha,ha) and enjoying just being able to relax.

Sweet little Sadie just hanging out in her seat on the shore.

Poor little thing I got sunscreen too close to her eye so it was all swollen.

Aunt Tam and Nanna Debi enjoying a chat and saving poor Sadie from her seat.

Thanks for all your help you two, it was nice to know she was in great hands, while I chased Mya.

Kim, Glenn and Tate came all the way from Texas to play with us! It was so great to have them! Mya and Tate get along so well, it's adorable.

Mya loved playing in the sand, she didn't enjoy the cold water so much but the sand was great fun.

Adorable Tate and Little Miss Mya

They are the definition of little boy and little girl. It is so much fun to watch them play and interact with each other. AND I am in love with his little voice! It is to die for... lisp and all! "Galishious"

Beautiful little Tessa, another sweet cousin I was hoping that would become buddies with Mya since they are so close in age. But sadly, they both chose to ignore one another completely. Maybe their next meeting will be better.

Aunt Kimber and her little cuties Maggie and Jane.

I couldn't believe how much they had grown up since we saw them last!

Cody and his Cousin Corbin showing some great form in the horseshoe pit. They spent most of the day here.

At each reunion Grandma Nina has a gift for all the grandchildren/great grandchildren. This year it was a fantastic safari or cowboy hat. Mya absolutely adored her tiger hat and wore it the entire day. Pretty hot ensemble if you ask me.

This was our substitute for the naps they refused to take... zone out in front of a Disney movie on the RV couch. At least they were sitting still and relaxing a little bit, right?

Another wonderful trip! Good times had by all! Thank you to Dave and Debi for the delightful RV we shared, that's the only way to camp with babies! Kim and Glenn, thanks for sharing the RV with Crazy little red and her family. Thank you to Adam and Camarie for all your help with the girls on the long drives, we wouldn't have made it without your 'max slide'. Thanks Kenz for being willing to love and let Mya follow you around, she thinks you're pretty great. We love you all!!

It was a great time wasn't it. Much easier than I expected it to be. The zoning out in front of the movie was so funny. Silly little cousins. Miss you guys already!
