Discovery with Daddy

Daddy took his girls on a date the other day. We spent the afternoon at Discovery Gateway. The girls had a great time showing daddy all the fun things there were to do.

We also managed to find things to do that we didn't do the last time we visited. Mya had a great time playing mail-lady. She delivered mail to spot the dog, the family farm, and other places around town.

Our thrilled little miss Sade, emptied the store shelves of their donuts, chocolate pretzels and chocolate bars. Mommy's child?

We also discovered a little mouse's house while we were there. It was quite exciting and had to be shared...

Even the little mice at Discovery Gateway have great digs.

A moment of them playing together. I love when they like each other, Sadie is giving us some attitude lately so we love it when they are happy with one another.

Scaredy cat kitty is getting more and more brave. She ran right up to the horse and climbed right on.

Sadie was thrilled with the chickens.

They also decided it was ok to sit in the front seat of the helicopter and drive with daddy.

Mya wanted to check out the 'handy crane' but they were constantly over run with little men. We were there close to closing time and got some play time in the construction zone.

Sadie was determined this was a slide and she was going to make her way to the top despite the other children tossing foam blocks down at her. The top was sealed with plexiglass minus a square hole for the blocks to fit through. I don't know where her stubborn streak has come from... cough, cough...daddy.

We love having daddy home to play with all day!
