Christmas this year was an absolute delight!
It is so magical to experience the holiday through the eyes of your children.

This is our one happy picture we have of Miss Sadie on Christmas eve, her fever came back full force at my Grandma's Christmas party. She was pretty miserable.

My cousin Gus was so sweet and held Sadie all night long. She had her hypnotized by rubbing her tummy and she zonked out.

Oh, the excitement!

Playing the traditional candy game at Grandma's house.
Mya had a grand time playing with grandpa; first thing she grabbed the Hot Tamales.

Mom! I can't believe you are making me pose for a picture when there are all these presents.

Mya got a very special letter from Santa. He explained that a little elf came to the North Pole and let him know that her puppy Max got lost and since she had been such a good girl they had been working in their workshop to make her a new Max.

She was so excited!

She squeezed him and loved him and then ran to her room and threw him in her bed. Because duh that's where Max lives.

Grams and grandpa came over Christmas morning to see what Santa Clause brought.

Miss Mya is absolutely smitten with her uncles.

When you asked Mya what she wanted for Christmas she would reply,
'Meno, and a gun to shoot deers.'

Nothing says peace on earth and brotherly love like a Christmas wet willie.

The ladies got a fantastic assortment of movies from Nanna and Papa. Aunt Mallory got them adorable PJs and is promoting their bilingual skills. She gave us Green Eggs and Ham and I love you Forever en Francais.

Sadie spent most of the morning sleeping but after her fever broke she was her usual smiley self.

The girls lovin' their Nanna.

Cody totally surprised me this year. We usually shop together so there aren't too many surprises but he got me this year. We have been without a printer since right after we graduated. That is no longer the case. He surprised me with a shiny new printer. Thank you love!

Then we went to Grams and Grandpa's house and the spoiling continued.
Uncle K and Tyson know this little lady well and indulged her Ariel needs with a snugly new blanket and shirt.

Playin' with the 'Tato Head' that Santa Clause brought Grams.

Ty, Me, K and Sadie

Cody got a pair of snowshoes and I got a Kindle, which I am so excited about.

I always have a fun time trying to figure out what to give Uncle K, he appreciates stuff that is just a little bit different. Examples; old Jazz shirts, anything with wolves, vintage/savers finds so when he saw this Captain EO shirt on our Disneyland trip but didn't buy it 'cause he was having a cheap moment, I knew that it needed to come for Christmas.

Cody also passed down this fabulous wolf tie which he had been wearing since high school. I'll be honest, I was OK seeing it leave his closet.

The weeks before Christmas Mya had been spending a lot of time playing underneath the high chair. She kept telling me she was in her clubhouse. So Grams got her a princess clubhouse of her very own.

Daddy even crawled in to check out the new digs.

Sweet Sade was content to just hold her present.

Mya was also very excited about Sadie's Christmas present. I've had to keep an eye on her since she tries to muscle her way between her and the toy.

Hanging out with Grandpa and Ty playin' with her awesome new toy.

Merry Christmas to all! And to all a good night!
