The Saturday after Christmas was the most gorgeous clear day. The field behind my parents house had the most beautiful untouched blanket of snow that just needed to be played in. Grandpa hooked up the tube behind the wheeler and we had a fun filled, cold day.
We took turns driving and riding. Haye loved them both. He couldn't stand the thought of stopping or resting. What finally did him in was when his poor little hands got too cold and he couldn't take it anymore.
These two were loving it all and got more and more adventurous as the day went on . Especially once Hadlee, Bo and Maggie joined the fun.
My cutie mama! We all love her. She made sure we had plenty of hot chocolate and treats to keep everyone going.
She's also a pretty great tube puller.
Mya kept begging grandpa to make a new trail! Make a new trail! Well it worked out just fine for her because she was always riding behind Sadie so she could avoid the spray of the powder. Well, we figured out her game and made her take her turn in the front to make a new trail and the result was absolutely hilarious. She had powder in her eyelashes, and plastered into each curl of her hair.
We wore poor Ruckus boy right out. He had run five or six laps before we even arrived and did his best to keep up with the kiddos. He would get tired, cut across the deep snow to try and catch up, but he would get snow balls built up in his paws so you would see him suddenly stop, plop down and start biting his feet to clean them out so he could start running again.
Me and two of my three girls. Senny had been napping inside but we put on her hat and mittens and let her come out for a few minutes to enjoy the fun too.
