So, we've made significant progress on the sleep front. I am happy to report that we have now been almost 2 weeks with no vomit and really no huge tantrums, a little whining, but no melt downs. The turning point...a big girl bed. I had to go to work and the girls were staying at my mom's and when Sadie laid eyes on the pack and play there was a panic. So mom was brave and put her in the trundle bed where Mya has been sleeping. It worked like a charm. After the success mom had 2 nights in a row I was eager to find a bed for her for our house. We are going to buy twins once we move but there just isn't the room at our place now. Thankfully my mom had our old crib mattress tucked away and it has been fabulous. We still have some bargaining; I generally have to sing Mary Poppins, 'A Spoon Full of Sugar', and leave the door open. Occasionally I give in and give her a sippy cup; Yes I know my healthcare professional side screams at me about how naughty that is. Other nights I lay by her for a few minutes but all in all the improvements are heavenly. However, now that she's free I had my first experience with the middle of the night, standing at the bedside staring at you until you wake up and about pee your pants moments. Now I feel like I need to apologize to my Mom for all the times I did that to her. Sorry Mom, in my little mind if I was quiet and woke you up quietly it seemed nicer. Nope, a little noise as a warning is better.

I sure am impressed how nicely the girls go to bed at my house. A book each and a couple of songs and I can walk right out as long as I leave the door half way open. Bedtime can't get easier than that.
Congrats Aubs that's a big step! She looks so grown up on her own little bed. Sweet miss Sadie. I'm not looking forward to the standing by my bed moments. So far Tate still waits for us to get him out of bed. It's awesome. Can't wait to see you! Wish I weren't missing Sade's birthday tomorrow!!!
What is with that stand by your bed stuff??!! Nearly gives me a heart attack! And if it's not stand there until you wake it's the Chinese torture drumming on my forehead! Too funny, glad she's making the transition,
