Let's Go Fly a Kite!

With Tuppence for paper and strings

You can have your own set of wings

With your feet on the ground

You're a bird in flight

With your fist holding tight

To the string of your kite!

Oh Oh Oh!

Let's go fly a kite

Up to the highest height!

Let's go fly a kite and send it soaring.

Up through the atmosphere

Up where the air is clear

Oh, let's go fly a kite!

When you send it flyin' up there

All at once you're lighter than air

You can dance on the breeze

Over 'ouses and trees

With your fist 'olding tight

To the string of your kite!

I realize that my last post was about building a snowman. That's the weather in Utah for you. (It's supposed to snow again Sunday so maybe there will be more snowmen to be built.) This week the warm sunshine and the perfect breeze was just calling for a kite.
At first Miss Mya was a bit apprehensive about how much the kite was pulling her back but soon she figured out that as long as she held someones hand or leaned into them she was perfectly safe. Sadie on the other hand didn't want anything to do with it. Who knows why but any time we tried to hold it with her we just heard "No. No mom no!

Thank you Mary Poppins for the inspiration and mother nature for your cooperation.

That does look like an ideal kite flying field. Glad you had such beautiful day! Such beautiful ladies you are.

What a great idea for the huge back yard. Especially to make more memories with Uncle K. He is so cute!
