Happy 50th Birthday Dad!!
My dad celebrated another fantastic year of life this past week, and we didn't want him to overlook it. So we all spent the afternoon preparing the house for his return. The balloons were much more impressive before the heat got to them.

Happy Birthday to you!! A new grill! The other one lit on fire frequently.We didn't pick black on purpose, it just conveniently came that way.
Now, McKay wanted to make sure that Dad felt properly old, so he attached his card to my grandpa's old walker and then told him to head 'out to pasture'.Where he found what McKay had been working on all afternoon, a grave!
However it wasn't a full grave, there was only enough room for his 'one foot'.
This was due to the crazy hard dirt that is in our back yard, he tried everything; soaking the ground, a tiller to no avail. So he finally gave up and settled for a foot grave, complete with headstone.
Happy Birthday Dad!! We love you!!
