Little Miss Sienna Hansen became a part of our family today. It was a much shorter adventure than we expected and for that we were grateful. Since she arrived in the early evening her big sisters and the newly appointed big brother were able to come and visit before they had to go to bed. This mama was happy to see those cute faces walk through the door and to see them react to and love there new baby sister.

Our first picture as a family of 6! That number seems just a little crazy to me!
I never doubted that they would love her. They all have such tender little hearts and are so sweet. I did find it interesting to watch them love her in their own ways. Mya was very exuberant and verbal about everything. Expressing over and over how cute she was and wanting to be near her, and showered her with kisses. Sadie was all smiles but much more quite about things. She was content to just look with those big expressive eyes of hers.
Hayze man was his cute little self and when we asked him what he thought of the baby he told us she was 'dood' and 'tute'. But for the most part he was content to snack on the Oreo's that mom had.
Good bye kisses for little sister.
We managed to catch a rare moment with open eyes. This little sweetie was pretty snoozy those first couple days. But I guess that getting here is probably pretty exhausting.
Cody loves his alone time with the kids in the hospital. He loves being able to just snuggle with them and I love watching him with them. He is an incredible man and I love him more deeply each time we experience the miracle of adding a new member to our family.
These cute faces came back to visit with Grams after school. When they arrived they were presented with 'Big Brother' and 'Big Sister' bracelets. They were feeling pretty cool. I kind of love where I work because they do cute things like that.
The girls were very excited to visit today because they were finally going to get to hold Sienna. I made my heart so full to watch them with her. To see them studying her so intently, looking at each little detail, and both wondering what part of her looked like them.
Haye wanted to hold Sienna too, but after he found some more Oreo's.
This time around I decided that I wanted to be home as soon as possible, as long as everything was going well with both me and little Miss. Thankfully everything was going smoothly and we were able to leave that night and made it home at about 10 o'clock to some very excited little kiddos.
Before I went to the hospital, I let Sadie choose which outfit she wanted to be Sienna's special coming home outfit. She carefully looked at each tiny outfit choice and finally decided on the blue ensemble with matching bow. Blue is her favorite color of course.
My first baby and my newest baby.
What a very blessed mama I am.
