Mallory's graduation from USU, at the beginning of May, spurred an impromptu Hansen family reunion or sorts. For the first time since she came home from her mission we had all the siblings together for a few days. I was a blast! I thank you Mal for putting in all that hard work and your willingness to go through with the big day so that we could have an excuse to have everyone here. We love you so much and are so proud of all you have accomplished and are doing, you are pretty amazing really!
Adam and Camarie made it home from their semester in China just in time and we were so glad they were here! Adam is like a insta melt-down remedy. The girls just love him, especially Sadie.
This handsome little man was the apple of Mya's eye the whole trip. She though he was pretty fantastic, which he is.
His fuzzy little head and soft skin were just the funniest thing to her. She giggled every time he touched her, looked at her or coo'd at her. It was just fascinating. She kept asking "What did HE say?" (Imagine it said with a little southern drawl, which came out of no where but was darling.) Aunt Kim and Aunt Mallo were sweet and kept translating, telling her he was saying how much he loved her and how pretty he thought she was. She just ate it up.
It was sweet to see here with a little one. She is not always the most gentle with Sadie and truth be told she thinks dolls are creepy, so it was really sweet to see her interact with him. She just might be OK if we have another baby someday.
Like I said before little Miss Sadie adopted Uncle Adam instantly. He was definitely her favorite and he was fantastic with her. I love her little face pondering why there was sugar all over his glass.
Adam and Cami brought back, in Mya's words 'the cutest kite', from China. It was probably 50 little kites strung together. It stretched across the cul-de-sac! Sadly, because of how long it was it got tangled in the trees across the street and broke in half. But, with some minor surgery from Dr. Adam it was back in business.
Can I tell you that cousin time is heavenly! These little ones just fantastic with each other! One of them gets an idea and the other two are immediately following after. They get along so well and would play all day if we would let them. Prying them away to take naps was absolutely torturous and there were many tears shed.
Tate was darling with Sadie, patiently letting her be his shadow. And when Mya was feeling a little antisocial he was thrilled to have her play with him in the tee pee. Here they are being Tinker Bell and Peter Pan.
The time for everyone to leave came too soon as it always does. It feels like we just get started and it's time to say good bye. Hopefully it isn't that long before we can see everyone again. Thanks everyone for such a fantastic week! We love you!!
