To get into the Halloween/Fall spirit the girls and I thought some pumpkins were in order. We picked out two big ones to carve later and 3 little ones to paint that night. I had seen some of our neighbors pain pumpkins in the past but never got on the ball enough to do it. I'm so glad we did this year because the girls had a blast and Mya keeps asking to paint more pumpkins....I'm thinking I'm just going to wash off the paint and let her do it again.

Less than classic Halloween colors (pink/turquoise)

Very Serious business this painting.

Sadie did much better than I thought she would wielding a brush.
And most of it stayed on the pumpkin...

I said most of it.
After this we had a melt down when she realized her hands were sticky and dirty.

Miss Mya's finished pumpkin.

Mommy's Polka-dot pumpkin.

And Sadie Lady's little creation.

The girls were so proud to put them on Nana's porch that night and even more excited to take them home.
