Sadie is 6!

 Our Sadie girl is 6 years old!! She has grown up so much in this past year. She has a heart that is so sweet and kind. She wants others to have success and feel loved so badly that she hurts sometimes. She tries so hard to do exactly what she thinks is expected of her. She is a perfectionist. She can get frustrated with herself and others if she can't get things exactly right. She has a little bit of a feisty streak that can surface, especially if she hasn't eaten for a while. But her sweet and tender heart is quick to tears if corrected. She reminds me of myself that way. She tries so hard at school and does very well. She is a friend to everyone. She is a great helper and is very sweet with her siblings. Miss Sadie will win your heart with ease and we are so blessed to have her in our family! We love you forever Sadie!

 This little gal has a thing for birds lately. She loves them! So, we had to get a little bit creative when she requested a bird party. We were both pretty happy with how it turned out.

To spice up the boring clothes, we surprised her with a paper telling her that we were going on a special trip the next day to the Tracy Aviary. She was going to be able to spend the day with the family and she was going to be able to feed some of the birds! She was thrilled!

She was even more thrilled with all the new robotic talking and singing birds that her family, who know her best, gave to her.
