 Dear little man,

I never thought that I would be so behind on documenting anything and everything about what has been going on while you have been growing in my belly. Please know that this is no reflection on how much I love you already and how very excited that I am to have you come to our family. I will admit that when I first discovered that you were a little man and not another little lady I was a little terrified. I am not sure why because I have two fabulous brothers, your uncles, and they were so much fun to grow up with. I think it was because I have never been a mommy to a little boy. I know what to expect being a mommy to little girls. You are bringing the unknown and shaking up my knowledge base. Everyone assures me that boys are so much easier, and so much fun and trust me I have no doubt about how much fun it's going to be and how much love you will bring to our home.

All the sudden we are both growing. You have been hiding pretty well inside mommy for a while now but you must have discovered how much more room you can get with a shift externally. Daddy came home from North Dakota and we surprised him with how much you were poking out. He laughs a lot and pats us when he walks by. You have definite awake and quiet times. Sometimes the quiet times last longer than your paranoid mommy likes and she starts worrying a little bit but then you always make up for it by doing your version of the River Dance in my belly.
